Backq in April 2018, in the text “Rainbow”, I wrote about a late afternoon when the sun and the rain, instead of drifting apart, met in harmony. Between light and raindrops, a multicolored arc appeared on the horizon — reminding us that differences can unite, that contrasts can create beauty, and that joined hands can build dreams. Seven years later, that image reveals itself once more — this time in the streets of Belém, Pará, on the opening day of COP30. The city vibrates like a living palette of voices and banners.
